Today is a special day in the festival of democracy as Narendra Modi is going to become the Prime Minister for the third consecutive time. He will be the second Indian Prime Minister to do so after Jawaharlal Nehru. Narendra Modi will take oath as the Prime Minister of the country for the third consecutive time on June 9 at 7.15 pm. Delhi has been turned into a cantonment for the swearing-in ceremony.

Discussion over tea 'ends, leaders leave PM's residence

 

 The discussion over tea at the PM's residence has ended. Nitin Gadkari, Rajnath Singh, BL Verma, Shobha Karandlaje, Giriraj Singh, Ramdas Athawale, Nityanand Rai, Jayant Chaudhary, Kiren Rijiju, Anupriya Patel and Ravneet Singh Bittu have left from there. Jitin Prasada, Pankaj Chaudhary, Rajiv (Lalan) Singh, Sanjay Seth, Manohar Lal Khattar, Sarbananda Sonowal, Ganjendra Singh Shekhawat, Rao Inderjit, Pralhad Joshi, Sukant Majumdar, Harsh Malhotra, Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Bhagirath Chaudhary, Ajay Tamta, Chirag Paswan, Jyotiraditya Scindia, Dharmendra Pradhan, Dr S Jaishankar have also left the PM's residence.

 

Kharge to attend Modi's swearing-in ceremony
 

After discussions with the party and allies, Congress President and Leader of Opposition in Rajya Sabha Mallikarjun Kharge has decided to attend the swearing-in ceremony of Prime Minister-designate Narendra Modi at Rashtrapati Bhavan today. Sources told this information.

The president of Sri Lanka lands in DelhiRanil Wickremesinghe, the president of Sri Lanka, traveled to Delhi today to witness theswearing-in of Narendra Modi. The ceremony for swearing-in is scheduled for 7:15 p.m. during the Prime Minister-designate ceremony.

Bihar Chief Minister and JD (U) president Nitish Kumar meets party workers at his residence in New Delhi. It is believed that he can go to the meeting to be held at the PM's residence.

Dharmendra Pradhan to be minister in Anurag Thakur's cabinet 

 

BJP MP Dharmendra Pradhan is also likely to be made a minister in the Modi 3.0 government. However, it seems difficult for Anurag Thakur to become a minister. This is the reason that he has not reached the meeting being held at the PM's residence. He's currently home. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has arrived for the meeting. Ministers and senior officials participated in the meeting.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Amit Shah, Rajnath Singh, LK Advani, Murli Manohar Joshi and JP Nadda attended the meeting. Apart from them, Rupinder Pal Singh, Simranjit Singh, Mandeep Singh, Gurjant Singh, Shamsher Singh, Varun Kumar, Dilpreet Singh, Hardik Singh and Krishan Pathak were also from Punjab.
