PM Modi accused the Congress of deliberately trying to sink its ally RJD in Bihar, calling the alliance weak and directionless ahead of upcoming elections.
During his speech in Bihar, Prime Minister Narendra Modi took a direct jibe at the Congress and RJD alliance, saying that the Congress party is not helping its partners but instead trying to pull them down. He stated that Congress has a history of destroying its allies and warned that the same fate awaits the RJD if it continues its association.
PM Modi emphasized that the people of Bihar understand the “real intentions” behind such political partnerships. He said the Congress is attempting to regain its lost relevance by riding on the shoulders of regional parties, but its strategy is bound to fail.
Highlighting the achievements of the BJP-led government, Modi contrasted the development agenda of his party with what he described as “family-driven politics” of the opposition. He urged the youth of Bihar to vote for progress and stability rather than for those who only engage in blame games and internal conflicts.
Political analysts see Modi’s remarks as part of a larger BJP strategy to weaken the opposition’s unity ahead of the Lok Sabha elections, especially in politically crucial states like Bihar. The statement is expected to intensify the already fragile relationship between the Congress and RJD, which has faced internal strains in recent months.
