Anmol Bishnoi was deported to India and sent to 11-day NIA custody for interrogation.
After his arrival in New Delhi following deportation, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) immediately arrested him and produced him before a special court. The agency sought his custody to investigate his alleged involvement in major criminal cases, including gang operations, extortion networks, and links to international crime modules.
The NIA also aims to uncover details of the Bishnoi gang’s cross-border operations, funding networks, and coordination with foreign handlers. His custodial interrogation is expected to reveal significant information related to planned crimes, associates involved, and the movement of illegal funds and weapons.
The case marks one of the most important developments in India’s crackdown on gangster-terror networks, as agencies continue their efforts to dismantle transnational criminal syndicates associated with the Bishnoi gang.
