UP Board Gears Up for Result Processing: Massive Evaluation Process Begins

The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) has commenced the evaluation process for answer sheets of the 2024 board exams. This year, a record number of 55.25 lakh students registered for the exams, resulting in over 50 lakh answer sheets that require evaluation.

To handle this mammoth task, the UPMSP has deployed a team of 1.47 lakh examiners. The evaluation will be conducted over a period of 13 working days, starting from March 16th and concluding on March 31st. There will be a brief pause in the evaluation process between March 24th and 26th to observe the Holi festival.

The examiners have been divided into two groups – 94,802 for evaluating 1.76 crore answer sheets of class 10 (high school) and 52,295 for assessing 1.25 crore answer sheets of class 12 (intermediate). The evaluation will be carried out at 13 designated centers.

The timely completion of the evaluation process is crucial for declaring the UP Board results in April. Last year, the UPMSP achieved its fastest result declaration in a century. This year, with such a large number of candidates and answer sheets, the board is working diligently to ensure a smooth and efficient evaluation process.
