Sanjay Uttamrao Deshmukh of Shiv Sena (Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray) won the 2024 Yavatmal-Washim Lok Sabha election, defeating Rajshritai Hemant Patil (Mahalle) of Shiv Sena by 94,473 votes.

Yavatmal- Washim Election Result Highlights: Sanjay Uttamrao Deshmukh of the Shiv Sena (Uddhav Balasaheb Thackrey) won the Yavatmal- Washim constituency by 94473 Votes.


In Yavatmal- Washim Constituency 2024 Lok Sabha Election Results, Sanjay Uttamrao Deshmukh of the Shiv Sena (Uddhav Balasaheb Thackrey) is declared the winner, securing 594807 votes and surpassing Rajshritai Hemant Patil (Mahalle) of the Shiv Sena by 94473 votes.

The Yavatmal-Washim constituency is one of Maharashtra's Lok Sabha seats. Following the delimitation in 2009, the Yavatmal Lok Sabha seat was divided into three parts: one part linked to the Washim district, another to the Chandrapur district, and the third to the Hingoli district of Marathwada. The election for this constituency was successfully held on April 26th, with a voter turnout of 62.87 percent.

 

The constituency comprises six Vidhan Sabha seats: Yavatmal, Washim, Karanja, Ralegaon, Digras, and Pusad. In the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, Bhavana Gavli of Shiv Sena won this seat with 542,098 votes, while Congress's Manikrao Thakre came in second with 424,159 votes.
