Mandsaur is an assembly constituency in Madhya Pradesh. Situated on the border of Mewar and Malwa region, Mandsaur is a city and a municipality in the district. It is the administrative headquarters of Mandsaur district. Mandsaur is located on the Mhow-Neemuch SH- 31.4 lane road along the Ajmer-Lebad (Indore) NH-79. Its area is 5,535 square kilometers. Mandsaur and its surroundings are full of tourist spots. An inscription discovered near the city indicates the construction of the Temple of the Sun in 437.
