In Gadchiroli – Chimur Constituency 2024 Lok Sabha Election Results, Dr. Kirsan Namdeo of the Indian National Congress is declared the winner, securing 617792 votes and surpassing Ashok Mahadeorao Nete of Bharatiya Janata Party by 141696 votes.

The Gadchiroli-Chimur Lok Sabha Constituency in Maharashtra is a significant political stronghold with a notable impact on Indian politics. Renowned for its diverse demographic, it remains a vital constituency in the state. The election for this constituency was successfully conducted on April 19th, with a voter turnout of 71.67 percent. Established in 2009, the inaugural Lok Sabha election saw Marotrao Kowase of the Congress defeating Ashok Nete of the BJP. Historically, the Chimur Lok Sabha seat had been dominated by Congress.

 

In the 2019 elections, Ashok Nete of the BJP won with 519,968 votes, surpassing Congress's Namdev Usendi, who received 442,442 votes. Similarly, in 2014, Ashok Nete secured 535,982 votes, defeating Namdev Usendi of the Congress, who garnered 299,112 votes.
