Dhruv Rathee: There were falsehoods circulated regarding Om Birla's daughter on Dhruv Rathee's parody account.

The daughter of Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla has been the target of a summons from the Maharashtra Cyber Police. The social media user and seven other people have received summonses from the cyber police. Seven more people shared or published the erroneous post. The spoof account has nothing to do with YouTuber Dhruv Rathee, according to a police officer.

Internet media users and seven other people have been summoned by the Maharashtra Police's cyber security division for posting disparaging remarks about the daughter of Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla. A case has been filed by Maharashtra Cyber against the former account "Dhruv Rathi (parody)". According to the user's X account, the influence of her father helped the daughter of the Lok Sabha Speaker pass the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) exam and become an IAS officer on her first try. 

 

Rathi has nothing to do with the parody account

 

The spoof account has nothing to do with YouTuber Dhruv Rathee, according to a police officer. Anjali Birla's cousin filed acomplaint with Maharashtra Cyber for defamation, malicious insult, breach of peace, and violation of the Information Technology Act after the erroneous post was reposted or shared by seven other individuals.

 

A complaint has been filed against the individual who shared the "memes."

 

A complaint has been filed against an X user for allegedly making and sharing offensive "memes" regarding Devendra Fadnavis, the deputy chief minister of Maharashtra. According to a police official on Friday, a case was filed at the Thane district's Khadakpada police station on Thursday for encouraging animosity between various groups and other offenses based on the complaint.

 

Since July 20, the accused has circulated offensive "memes" and altered photos of Fadnavis. He said that although an investigation is ongoing, no one has been taken into custody.
