Ayodhya: Prime Minister Narendra Modi officially unveiled the idol of Lord Rama at the Ram temple in Ayodhya today, marking a momentous occasion that had been anticipated for 500 years. The installation of the idol in the Ram temple signifies the culmination of a long-awaited dream. Following this significant ceremony, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath engaged with the public. During this interaction, Yogi Adityanath expressed that he chose the location for the Ram temple and built it there. Words are inadequate to convey the emotions experienced on this momentous day; the sentiments are overwhelming. Yogi Adityanath remarked that at this historic and sacred moment, every corner of India is akin to Ayodhya Dham, and every path leads to Ram Janmabhoomi.

Ram-naam resonates in everyone's thoughts, and tears of joy well up in every eye. The entire nation is enveloped in a sense of divine blessing, as if ushering in the Treta Yuga. Today, Raghunandan has ascended the throne, bringing unparalleled happiness and contentment. This day, long-awaited for five centuries, has finally dawned upon us," Yogi Adityanath proclaimed.

Highlighting the historical significance, he remarked, "Shri Ram Janmabhoomi stands as a unique case where the majority community of the country persevered for many years to construct their temple. People from all castes in society contributed to the endeavor of building the Ram Mandir, and today, that day has arrived. The soul is brimming with joy."

Yogi Adityanath expressed gratitude and extended congratulations to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for translating commitment (Sankalp) into action (Sadhana), for putting an end to the prolonged wait, and for the fulfillment of the collective commitment. He further reassured, "There will be no sounds of gunfire in the city of Ayodhya, and no curfew will be imposed." The Chief Minister's words sought to reassure that this historic event would be celebrated peacefully, and harmony would prevail in the city.
