Barack Obama the former president, will shortly formally support Kamala Harris in her presidential campaign

The former American Democratic President, Barack Obama, is secretly supporting Kamala Harris.

Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Barack Obama have been in close communication since Harris declared her candidacy for president on Sunday. Following that, the former president finally decided whether or not to support the vice president.

Though Obama has remained silent in public, behind closed doors he is also giving Harris advice on campaign tactics based on his expertise in managing winning presidential campaigns. With just 100 days to go before Election Day, the report asserts that he views himself as a resource for Harris as she manages her intense campaign.

It has been reported that Michelle Obama endorses Harris's campaign as well. "President Obama looks forward to assisting Democrats up and down the ballot to make the case to voters this fall," said Senior Advisor to the President Eric Schultz. Obama's participation will have a strategic impact, he continued, especially in areas where his influence can be most useful.

As the campaign unfolds, Harris is expected to focus on key issues such as healthcare, economic inequality, and climate action. With Obama's endorsement, her path to securing the Democratic nomination appears increasingly promising, setting the stage for a historic presidential election in 2024.
