Indian boxing sensation Lovlina Borgohain has advanced to the quarterfinals of the women’s welterweight (69 kg) category at the Paris 2024 Olympics. In her opening 75-kg round of the competition, she won over Sunniva Hofstad of Norway by unanimous decision, scoring 5-0 points. Following this triumph, Borgohain is now just one win away from earning a medal and making boxing history in India.
