Varanasi Constituency Lok Sabha Election Results 2024

BJP's Narendra Modi won against Indian National Congress candidate Ajay Rai. BJP's Narendra Modi got a total of 6,12,970 votes. Indian National Congress candidate Ajay Rai got 4,60,457 votes. BJP's Narendra Modi won the seat by 1,52,513 votes.

Unnao Election Result Highlights: Narendra Modi, candidate of the Bharatiya Janata Party won the Varanasi constituency in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections by 6,12,970 votes. Indian National Congress candidate Ajay Rai lost the election by a margin of 1,52,513 votes.

 

In Unnao Constituency 2024 Lok Sabha Election Results, Narendra Modi, candidate of the Bharatiya Janata Party defeated Indian National Congress candidate Ajay Rai, who received 4,60,457 votes.

Varanasi is a city and a municipality in Varanasi district in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. It is considered a holy city in Hinduism. It is also an important city for Buddhism and Jainism. It is one of the oldest inhabited cities in the world.

 

Varanasi is the Lok Sabha constituency of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Before him, Dr Murli Manohar Joshi was the MP from here in the 2009 elections. Varanasi Lok Sabha constituency consists of five Vidhan Sabha constituencies - Rohaniya, Varanasi North, Varanasi South, Varanasi Cantt, Sewapuri.   


Lok Sabha elections 2019: In Varanasi, BJP's Narendra Modi won the seat with 6,74,664 votes. SP's Shalini Yadav came second with 1,95,159 votes and Congress' Ajay Rai came third with 1,52,548 votes.
