Swami Prasad Maurya has resigned from the membership of the Legislative Council along with the Samajwadi Party. He will now start his political journey with his own party 'Rashtriya Shoshit Samaj Party'.

Former cabinet minister Swami Prasad Maurya's relations with the Samajwadi Party have come to an end. After leaving the post of General Secretary, now Swami Prasad Maurya has also resigned from the primary membership of Samajwadi Party. He has also resigned from the post of MLC. In the letter written to Akhilesh Yadav, Swami Prasad Maurya has strongly cursed the Samajwadi Party.

In his resignation letter sent to Akhilesh Yadav, Swami Prasad Maurya wrote, “I had the privilege of working with you in a friendly atmosphere. However, I also resign from the party membership as a result of not starting any kind of conversation in response to the talks on February 12 and the letter sent on February 13.” In point of fact, Swami Prasad Maurya had resigned from his position as National General Secretary on February 13th. On the other hand, Akhilesh Yadav did not take any initial steps toward initiating a discussion regarding this resignation. As a consequence of this, he has terminated his membership in the primary membership of the party.

It is currently being discussed that Swami Prasad Maurya will decline to join any political party at this time. On February 22nd, Swami Prasad Maurya will be able to make an announcement regarding his new party at Talkatora Stadium in Delhi. The picture of Swami Prasad Maurya's new party and celebration also went viral on social media on Monday. The Rashtriya Shoshit Samaj Party is going to be the name of Swami Prasad Maurya's new political party, as stated by the information. Remarkably, Swami Prasad Maurya has served as a Member of Legislative Assembly five times. He also served as a cabinet minister during the first term of the government that was led by Mayawati and Yogi. He had joined the Samajwadi Party prior to the assembly elections that were held in 2022. Despite the fact that he was unsuccessful in the elections of 2022. Following that, the Samajwadi Party elevated him to the position of Member of the Legislative Council and appointed him to that position.
