Satara, one of the Lok Sabha constituencies in Maharashtra, is located in Satara district near the confluence of the Krishna River and its tributary, the Venna. The election for this constituency was successfully held on May 7th, with a voter turnout of 63.16 percent.
In the 2019 by-election, Shrinivas Patil of the NCP won with 636,620 votes, while Udayanraje Pratapsingh Bhosale of the BJP received 548,903 votes.
