SP's Chhotelal Wins by 1,29,234 Votes and received total 4,65,848 votes. SP's Chhotelal defeated Apna Dal(Soneylal) candidate Rinki Singh, who received 3,36,614 votes.

Robertsganj Election Result Highlights: Chhotelal, candidate of the Samajwadi Party won the Robertsganj constituency in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections by 4,65,848 votes. Apna Dal(Soneylal) candidate Rinki Singh lost the election by a margin of by 1,29,234 votes.

 

In Robertsganj Constituency 2024 Lok Sabha Election Results, Chhotelal, candidate of the Samajwadi Party defeated Apna Dal(Soneylal) candidate Rinki Singh, who received 3,36,614 votes.

Robertsganj, also known as Sonbhadra City, is a city and a Lok Sabha constituency in Sonbhadra district in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. Robertsganj is located in the south-eastern corner of the state. Robertsganj is the administrative headquarters of Sonbhadra district.

 

In April 1989, Sonbhadra district came into existence by separating from Mirzapur. The district shares borders with four states. Bihar, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh. The district is tribal dominated. Many families live here.
From the historical point of view, the fort of Vijaygad located in this area is famous. At the same time, the fortress of Agori is also considered quite historical. The story of Veer Lorik related to this fort is very popular. The Robertsganj Lok Sabha seat is reserved for SCs. 

 

Lok Sabha elections 2019: Pakauri Lal Kol of Apna Dal (Sonelal) won by 4,47,914 votes, Bhai Lal of SP got 3,93,578 votes and Bhagwati Prasad Chaudhary of Congress got 35,269 votes.
