In the newly established Delhi administration, Kapil Mishra, Parvesh Sahib Singh, and Manjinder Singh Sirsa will be sworn in as cabinet ministers.

Rekha Gupta to Take Oath as Delhi CM Today; 6 Cabinet Ministers Set to be Sworn In

Rekha Gupta is set to be sworn in as the new Chief Minister of Delhi today at Ramlila Maidan. The ceremony, scheduled to begin at 10 AM, will also witness the induction of six cabinet ministers into the new Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government. Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other dignitaries are expected to attend the event, which will be held under stringent security measures, including the deployment of over 25,000 security personnel.

 

Cabinet Ministers to be Sworn In:

  1. Parvesh Sahib Singh Verma: A prominent Jat leader, Verma gained attention after defeating Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) convenor Arvind Kejriwal in the New Delhi constituency by 4,089 votes. Prior to this, he served as the Lok Sabha MP from West Delhi from 2014 to 2024.
  2. Manjinder Singh Sirsa: Known for his influential role in the Sikh community, Sirsa has been an active participant in Delhi's political landscape. His inclusion in the cabinet is seen as an effort to represent and address the concerns of the Sikh populace in the capital.
  3. Kapil Mishra: Once a member of the AAP, Mishra joined the BJP and has been a vocal critic of his former party. His experience and outspoken nature are expected to bring a dynamic approach to the new cabinet.
  4. Ashish Sood: A dedicated BJP worker, Sood has risen through the party ranks due to his organizational skills and commitment. His appointment is anticipated to strengthen the party's grassroots connections.
  5. Pankaj Kumar Singh: With a background in public service, Singh's expertise is expected to contribute to the administration's focus on governance and development.
  6. Raviraj Indraj: Known for his work in social sectors, Indraj's inclusion aims to address social welfare and community development initiatives in Delhi.

 

The swearing-in ceremony marks a new chapter in Delhi's governance, with the BJP returning to power after 27 years. The new cabinet is expected to address pressing issues such as pollution, infrastructure development, and public welfare.
