In Nalanda Constituency 2024 Lok Sabha Election Results, Kaushalendra Kumar of the Janata Dal (United) is declared the winner, securing 559422 votes and surpassing Dr. Sandeep Saurav of the Communist Party of India (Marxist-Leninist) (Liberation) by 169114 votes.

Nalanda, a district in Bihar with its administrative headquarters in Bihar Sharif, is located within the Patna Division and is known for its fertile Indo-Gangetic Plain, complemented by the Rajgir hills in the southern region. Covering an area of 2,355 square kilometers, Nalanda had a population of 2.8 million according to the 2011 census.

 

In the 2019 election, the constituency, boasting a total voter count of 1,719,503, saw Kaushalendra Kumar of JD(U) emerge victorious with 540,888 votes, while Ashok Kumar Azad of the Hindustani Awam Morcha (Secular) secured second place with 284,751 votes.
