SP's Ruchi Vira Wins by 1,05,762 Votes and received total 6,37,363 votes. SP's Ruchi Vira defeated , BJP's Kunwar Sarvesh Kumar, who received 5,31,601 votes.

Moradabad Election Result Highlights: Ruchi Vira, candidate of the Samajwadi Party won the Moradabad Uttar Pradesh Constituency in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections by 6,37,363 votes. BJP's Kunwar Sarvesh Kumar lost the election by a margin of by 1,05,762 votes.

 

In Moradabad Constituency 2024 Lok Sabha Election Results, Ruchi Vira, candidate of the Samajwadi Party defeated BJP's Kunwar Sarvesh Kumar, who received 5,31,601 votes.

Moradabad is a city and a municipal board in Moradabad district in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. It is spread over about 3,718 sq km along the Ramganga river in the northern part of the state. The district has a population of around 41 lakh with 54.29 per cent males and 45.70 per cent females. There are around 20 lakh voters in the constituency. Moradabad is popularly known as Pital Nagari because of its brass handicraft industry. Brass products made here are exported to many countries, due to which Moradabad is also an import and export hub.

 

Lok Sabha elections 2019: In Moradabad, 13 candidates were in the fray but the main contest was between sitting BJP MP Kunwar Sarvesh Kumar, Congress' Imran Pratapgarhi and Samajwadi Party's Dr ST Hasan. In the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, Dr ST Hasan of SP won from this seat, he got 6,49,538 votes. BJP's Sarvesh Kumar Singh came second with 5,51,416 votes and Congress' Imran Pratapgarhi came third with 59,198 votes.
