SP's R.k. Chaudhary Wins by 70,292 Votes and received total 6,67,869 votes. SP's R.k. Chaudhary defeated , BJP's Kaushal Kishore, who received 5,97,577 votes.

Mohanlalganj Election Result Highlights: R.k. Chaudhary, candidate of the Samajwadi Party won the Mohanlalganj Uttar Pradesh Constituency in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections by 6,67,869 votes. BJP's Kaushal Kishore lost the election by a margin of by 70,292 votes.

 

In Mohanlalganj Constituency 2024 Lok Sabha Election Results, R.k. Chaudhary, candidate of the Samajwadi Party defeated BJP's Kaushal Kishore, who received 4,41,610 votes.

Mohanlalganj Lok Sabha seat came into existence in 1962. Before 2019, there have been 14 Lok Sabha elections, out of which Congress has won 5 times, SP 4 times and BJP 3 times. He has been elected as Lok Sabha MP once and as Rajya Sabha MP once. It is reserved for Scheduled Castes. The first Lok Sabha election in Mohanlalganj was held in 1962 and Ganga Devi of the Congress won. After this, she remained an MP for three consecutive terms, but in the Lok Sabha elections held in 1977 after the Emergency, Ram Lal Kureel of the Bharatiya Lok Dal stopped the victory of the Congress. However, in the Lok Sabha elections held in 1980, Kailash Pati of the Congress defeated Ram Lal Kureel and took away this seat and he was elected MP for three consecutive times. In 1984, Congress leader Jagannath Prasad was elected MP.


Lok Sabha elections 2019: There were 12 candidates in the fray. The main contest was between Kaushal Kishore of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), RK Chaudhary of the Congress and CL Verma of the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP). The Pragatisheel Samajwadi Party has fielded Ganesh Rawat. In the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, BJP's Kaushal Kishore won from this seat, he got 6,29,999 votes. BSP's CL Verma came second with 5,39,795 votes and Congress' RK Chaudhary came third with 60,069 votes.
