The Prime Minister Narendra Modi holds a roadshow in Kanpur. PM Modi will visit seven assembly divisions in Kanpur and Akbarpur Lok Sabha seats as part of the roadshow. Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrives at Chakeri airport after a successful roadshow.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has arrived in Kanpur. He began the roadshow by paying obeisance at the Kirtangarh Gurudwara on GT Road here. PM Modi was accompanied by UP CM Yogi Adityanath and BJP candidate Ramesh Awasthi during the roadshow. The roadshow, which started from Gumti area, ended at Khoya Mandi, 1.8 km away. PM Modi reached Chakeri airport at 5.30 pm on Saturday. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and other leaders were present on the occasion. People thronged the streets to catch a glimpse of Modi.

Once in Gumti Gurudwara, Narendra Modi, the prime minister, laid his head. State BJP chief Chaudhary Bhupendra Singh and UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath accompanied him. Yogi Adityanath, the chief minister, got to Gumti Gurudwara before PM Modi did. For PM Modi's roadshow, milky lights were strung along Gumti Gurudwara to Kalpi Road.

The first stop of PM Modi's roadshow was the Gumti Gurudwara. On this occasion, Prime Minister Narendra Modi was welcomed with a garlanded. As soon as Prime Minister Modi folded his hands, the crowd chanted Jai Shri Ram, Modi hai to mumkin hai, etc. During this time people got very excited. The flash of the mobile started flashing in thousands of hands. Modi received with folded hands and waved the lotus sign, expressing support for Kanpur candidates Ramesh Awasthi and Devendra Singh Bhole. He did not speak. The enormous audience was excited to see Modi. Crowds were keen to capture the moment on their mobile devices. The prime minister was joined by Yogi Adityanath, Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, and Shivraj Singh Chouhan, former Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh.

 

25 security blocks to be set up 
 

Three-layer security arrangements have been made during the Prime Minister's roadshow. District Magistrate Rakesh Kumar has given the responsibility of different blocks to 25 officers. The entire road-show route from Air Force has been divided into 25 segments. Special officers have been deployed in each police station to ensure security. 

 

Muslim women say thank you Modi ji.

 

Muslim women, who have been specially invited to block number five earmarked for Durga Sena since the Prime Minister's roadshow in Kanpur, raised slogans of "Thank you Modi." During this, some women had also taken a poster passing a law against 3 talaq, in which slogans like 'Aabki Baar Modi Sarkar' were written. Apart from Muslim women, beneficiaries of other government schemes like Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana expressed their gratitude to Modi. The event was attended by BJP Mandal General Secretary Bhisham Thakur, President of the Champa Panchayat, SP Mandi Gurdev Sharma, deputy commissioner Mandi Rugved Thakur, and other officers. 

 

It is Prime Minister Narendra Modi who gave us freedom from the shackles of triple talaq that we have seen since childhood and no one could raise a voice against it. Today we are free and the future of our daughters is secure. No one can play with their lives anymore, they have saved the future of our children Now we can also play our role in shaping the future of him and his party.

 

Road show Schedule

 

From Chakeri airport, the Prime Minister travelled via Ramadevi to reach COD bridge, Jhakarkati bus stand, Zareeb Chowki near Afim Kothi crossroads and then to Kirtangarh Gurudwara on GT Road Gumti. After paying homage to the gurdwara, the road show began. From Chakeri airport, Prime Minister Narendra Modi left for Ramadevi via Harjinder Nagar. All BJP leaders and workers were present on the occasion. Prime Minister Narendra Modi greeted people on the occasion. Muslim women were also present. Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrives at Gurudwara Kartarpur Sahib. Head here as well. During this, UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath was also present with him. The road from Gumti Gurudwara to Kalpi road was decorated with attractive lighting and saffron flags.
