Jalaun Constituency Lok Sabha Election Results 2024

SP's Narayan Das Ahirwar won against BJP's Bhanu Pratap Singh Verma. SP's Narayan Das Ahirwar got a total of 5,30,180 votes. BJP's Bhanu Pratap Singh Verma got 4,76,282 votes. SP's Narayan Das Ahirwar won the seat by 53,898 votes.

Jalaun Election Result Highlights: Narayan Das Ahirwar, candidate of the Samajwadi Party won the Jalaun constituency in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections by 5,30,180 votes. BJP's Bhanu Pratap Singh Verma lost the election by a margin of 53,898 votes.

 

In Jalaun Constituency 2024 Lok Sabha Election Results, Narayan Das Ahirwar, candidate of the Samajwadi Party defeated BJP's Bhanu Pratap Singh Verma, who received 3,61,079 votes.

The Jalaun Lok Sabha seat has 78.97 per cent rural and 21.03 per cent urban population as per the 2011 census. There are a total of five assembly seats under the Jalaun Lok Sabha constituency. These seats are Bhognipur, Madhavgarh, Kalpi, Urai and Garotha. The constituency is reserved for Scheduled Castes. The BJP is currently leading in five seats.

 

Lok Sabha elections 2019: There are a total of 5 candidates in the fray for the Lok Sabha elections 2019. The BJP has fielded sitting MP Bhanu Pratap Singh Verma. On the other hand, Ajay Singh of the BSP was contesting on behalf of the alliance. The Congress had given ticket to Brajlal Khabri again. The Rashtriya Shoshit Samaj Party and the Communist Party of India (Marxist-Leninist) (Liberation) were in the fray. BJP's Bhanu Pratap Singh Verma defeated BSP's Ajay Singh (Pankaj) by a huge margin. BJP candidate Bhanu Pratap Singh Verma got 5,81,763 votes. BSP's Ajay Singh (Pankaj) got 4,23,386 votes, Congress' Brijlal Khabri got 89,606 votes.
