BJP's Rao Inderjit Singh wins by 75,079 Votes and received total 8,08,336 votes. BJP's Rao Inderjit Singh defeated INC candidate Raj Babbar, who received 7,33,257 votes.

Gurgaon Election Result Highlights: Rao Inderjit Singh, candidate of the Bharatiya Janata Party won the Gurgaon, Haryana Constituency in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections by 8,08,336 votes. INC candidate Raj Babbar lost the election by a margin of by 75,079 votes. 

 

In Gurgaon 2024 Lok Sabha Election Results, Rao Inderjit Singh, candidate of the Bharatiya Janata Party defeated INC candidate Raj Babbar, who received 7,33,257 votes.

Gurugram has been in existence since the time of Mahabharata. It is said that Yudhishthira, the eldest brother of the Pandavas, gave this village to his guru Dronacharya, whose pond still exists to the west of the railway road. The actual name Gurgaon is about 1.5 km away. Away from the city of Gurugram, where the temple of Sheetla Mata attracts a large number of devotees every Monday and Tuesday.

 

Gurugram is one of the 10 Lok Sabha constituencies in Haryana. It came into existence after the delimitation of 2008. Gurugram is located 30 km south of national capital New Delhi, about 10 km from Dwarka sub-city and 268 km south of state capital Chandigarh.

 

The city has undergone rapid development and construction in the last 25 years. The district is one of the major satellite cities of Delhi and is part of the National Capital Region. It is connected to Delhi via an expressway and the Delhi Metro. The district is the second largest city in Haryana and is the industrial and financial centre of Haryana. It has the third highest per capita income in India after Chandigarh and Mumbai. It is also the IT hub and hub of various BPO companies.

 

Lok Sabha elections 2019: Rao Inderjit Singh of BJP got 8,81,546 votes, Captain Ajay Singh Yadav of Congress got 4,95,290 votes and NOTA got 5,389 votes
