DY Chandrachud pays tribute to soldiers during Christmas celebrations at The Supreme Court

While the Supreme Court was celebrating Christmas On Monday, Chief Justice DY Chandrachud of the Supreme Court paid tribute to the four military soldiers who lost their lives in a terrorist attack in Jammu and Kashmir last week.

Chandrachud said, "We lost four members of our armed forces a few days ago," during the Supreme Court's Christmas Day celebration. So while we enjoy Christmas, let us keep in mind those at the borders who spend these freezing mornings guarding our nation and ourselves. When we sing, we celebrate by doing so for them."


Four soldiers lost their lives and two more were injured when heavily armed terrorists ambushed two Army trucks in the Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir last Thursday. near at 3:45 p.m. 

 

The militants set up shop on a hill between Dhera Ki Gali and Bufliaz, where they ambushed the two Army trucks close to Dhatyar Morh.

 

Officials have stated that terrorists may have fled the scene of the incident when two Army vehicles, a truck and a Maruti Gypsy, were targeted.

 

Three or four of them were suspected of being involved in the assault. The Army vehicles were attacked by the militants as they slowed down close to the blind curve near Dhatyar Morh.
