Dewas Constituency Lok Sabha Election Results 2024

BJP's Mahendra Singh Solanki wins by 4,25,225 votes and received total 9,28,941 votes. BJP's Mahendra Singh Solanki defeated INC candidate Rajendra Radhakishan Malviya, who received 5,03,716 votes.

Dewas Election Result Highlights: Mahendra Singh Solanki, candidate of the Bharatiya Janata Party won the Dewas, Madhya Pradesh Constituency in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections by 9,28,941 votes. INC candidate Rajendra Radhakishan Malviya lost the election by amargin of by 4,25,225 votes. 

 

In Dewas 2024 Lok Sabha Election Results, Mahendra Singh Solanki, candidate of the Bharatiya Janata Party defeated INC candidateRajendra Radhakishan Malviya, who received 5,03,716 votes.

Senior BJP leader Thawarchand Gehlot is contesting from Dewas Lok Sabha seat in Madhya Pradesh. This seat came into existence in 2008. The BJP has won two seats and the Congress one seat in the elections. BJP's Manohar Untwal, who won the 2014 Lok Sabha elections from this seat, also won from the Agar seat in the recent assembly elections.


Dewas Lok Sabha seat came into existence in 2008. Shajapur Lok Sabha seat was abolished to make way for Dewas Lok Sabha seat. This seat is reserved for candidates belonging to the Scheduled Castes. In the 2009 elections, Congress's Sajjan Singh won here. He had defeated Thaawarchand Gehlot, a minister in the Modi government. However, the BJP won the seat in the last election.

 

Lok Sabha elections 2019: In the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, BJP's Manohar Untwal defeated Congress's Sajjan Singh. Manhor Untwal got 665646 votes (58.19 per cent), while Sajjan Singh got 405333 votes (35.49 per cent). The margin of victory was 260313 votes. The BSP came third with 1.51 per cent votes.
