Jagadish Chandra Barma Basunia of the All India Trinamool Congress Party (AITC) was declared the winner of the Coochbehar constituency of West Bengal by securing a total vote of 788375 by defeating Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate Nisith Pramanik in West Bengal by 39250 votes.
