BJP's Alok Sharma wins by 5,01,499 votes and received total 9,81,109 votes. BJP's Alok Sharma defeated INC candidate Arun Shrivastava, who received 4,79,610 votes.

Bhopal Election Result Highlights: Alok Sharma, candidate of the Bharatiya Janata Party won the Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh Constituency in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections by 9,81,109 votes. INC candidate Arun Shrivastava lost the election by a margin of by 5,01,499 votes. 

 

In Bhopal 2024 Lok Sabha Election Results, Alok Sharma, candidate of the Bharatiya Janata Party defeated INC candidate Arun Shrivastava Baraiya, who received 4,79,610 votes.

Bhopal is the capital of Madhya Pradesh. It is called the city of lakes. The city derives its name from the lake Bhoj Tal built by a Hindu king, Raja Bhoj, in the 11th century. It is one of the Lok Sabha constituencies in Madhya Pradesh. Its area is 2,772 square kilometers. There are 8 Vidhan Sabha constituencies in Bhopal district. The Bhopal Lok Sabha constituency consists of Bhopal and Sehore assembly segments. According to the 2011 census data, the population of Bhopal was 23.71 lakh and there are 855 people living per square kilometre. Literacy rate is 80.37 per cent. The male literacy rate is 85.42 per cent and the female literacy rate is 74.87 per cent.

 

Lok Sabha elections 2019: BJP's Sadhvi Pragya Singh Thakur won the Lok Sabha elections 2019 with 8,66,482 votes. Congress' Digvijaya Singh came second with 5,01,660 votes and BSP's Madho Singh Ahirwar came third with 1,277 votes.
