Bhagalpur is a district and Lok Sabha constituency in Bihar, located on the southern bank of the Ganges River. The first Lok Sabha election in Bhagalpur was held in 1951 when it was combined with Darbhanga as a single seat. They were later separated during delimitation. In the 2019 elections, Janata Dal United's Ajay Kumar Mandal won with 618,254 votes, followed by RJD's Shailesh Kumar with 340,624 votes. Additionally, 31,567 people chose the NOTA option, making it the third-highest count.
