Bansgaon Constituency Lok Sabha Election Results 2024

BJP's Kamlesh Paswan won against Indian National Congress candidate Sadal Prasad. BJP's Kamlesh Paswan got a total of 4,28,693 votes. Indian National Congress candidate got 4,25,543 votes. BJP's Kamlesh Paswan won the seat by 3,150 votes.

Bansgaon Election Result Highlights: Kamlesh Paswan, candidate of the Bharatiya Janata Party won the Bansgaon constituency in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections by 4,28,693 votes. Indian National Congress candidate Sadal Prasad lost the election by a margin of 3,150 votes.

 

In Bansgaon Constituency 2024 Lok Sabha Election Results, Kamlesh Paswan, candidate of the Bharatiya Janata Party defeated Indian National Congress candidate Sadal Prasad, who received 4,25,543 votes.

In terms of religion-based population, Hindus constitute 93.21 per cent of the population, while Muslims constitute 6.39 per cent (28,626). The sex ratio is 991 females per thousand males. For the general category, the sex ratio is 999. The literacy rate is 71 per cent, of which 83 per cent are males and 60 per cent are females. In the 14 Lok Sabha elections held from 1962 to 2018, the Congress has won the Bansgaon Lok Sabha seat 6 times. The BJP had opened its account in 1991. 

 

Lok Sabha elections2019: In the 2019 polls, Kamlesh Paswan of BJP won by 5,46,673 votes, Sadal Prasad of BSP got 3,93,205 votes, Surendra Prasad Bharti of PSP (L) got 8,717 votes
