Geniben Nagaji Thakor of the Indian National Congress (INC) was declared the winner of the Banaskantha constituency of Gujarat by securing a total vote of671883 , defeating BJP candidate Dr.Rekhaben Hiteshbhai Chaudhari, by 137781 votes.
