Allahabad is one of the most prominent Lok Sabha constituencies in Uttar Pradesh. Amitabh Bachchan, Lal Bahadur Shastri, V P Singh, Murli Manohar Joshi and Janeshwar Mishra have all been MPs. In such a situation, the eyes of the whole country are on this seat.

 

Lok Sabha elections 2024: In the Lok Sabha election 2019, BJP's Rita Bahuguna Joshi won the seat. Rata Bahuguna Joshi got 4,94,454 votes and Rajendra Singh got 3,10,179 votes. Congress candidate Yogesh Shukla got only 31,953 votes.
