Aligarh Election Result Highlights: BJP's Satish Kumar Gautam won the Aligarh constituency in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections by 501834 votes. SP candidate Bijendra Singh lost the election by a margin of 15647 votes.

Aligarh is one of the most important cities in Uttar Pradesh as far as Lok Sabha elections are concerned. Aligarh Muslim University, also known as Aligarh Muslim University, is a public university located in Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh. The BJP had won the Muslim-dominated Aligarh Lok Sabha seat in the last general elections.

 

Aligarh Lok Sabha elections 2019: In 2019 Lok Sabha elections, Satish Kumar Gautam of BJP won from this seat with a margin of 6,56,215 votes. Ajit Balyan got 4,26,954 votes, while Congress candidate Bijender Singh got 50,880 votes. The voter turnout in 2019 was 61.44 per cent.
