In a strong rebuttal at the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA), India dismissed Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s speech as baseless and misleading. The Indian side criticized Sharif for using the global stage to push false propaganda instead of addressing Pakistan’s economic collapse, rising terrorism, and human rights violations.
India further emphasized that Jammu & Kashmir is an integral part of India, and no amount of rhetoric from Pakistan can change this reality. The Indian representative added that Pakistan should focus on curbing cross-border terrorism and ensuring stability within its borders rather than spreading misinformation internationally.
