The Seoul Broadcasting System (SBS) presented the 2023 SBS Drama Awards. It took place at SBS Prism Tower in Sangam-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul on December 29, 2023. Kim Yoo-jung hosted the program for the third time, and Shin Dong-yup for the sixth time in a row.

In the aftermath of the passing of the late Lee Sun-kyun, the award presentation took place in a calm setting. The majority of the actors were seen wearing black clothes to show respect  towards the actors death.
