Acclaimed producer Sandeep Singh has brought together two stalwarts of Indian music—composer Pritam and lyricist Prasoon Joshi—for his highly anticipated biopic on Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. The film, starring Kannada superstar Rishab Shetty, is set to be a grand cinematic tribute to the legendary Maratha warrior.  

This collaboration marks the first time that Pritam and Prasoon Joshi will be working together, making it a historic moment for Bollywood music. Pritam, known for delivering chartbusters in films like Barfi, Jab We Met, Dhoom, and Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, will be composing the music. Meanwhile, National Award-winning lyricist Prasoon Joshi, who has penned iconic songs for films like Ghajini, Delhi-6,and Rang De Basanti, will be crafting the lyrics.  

Rishab Shetty, who gained nationwide recognition with Kantara, is set to play the role of Shivaji Maharaj. With Kantara becoming a pan-India blockbuster, expectations are high for his portrayal of the iconic warrior king.  

Producer Sandeep Singh, known for critically acclaimed films such as Aligarh, Sarbjit, and Swatantra Veer Savarkar  aims to bring historical authenticity and grandeur to this ambitious project. “Shivaji Maharaj is not just a historical figure but an emotion for millions.
