There is news of a major change in the country's aviation sector. There has been a major change in the top management of Akasa Air. The company's co-founder and Chief Commercial Officer Pravin Iyer has resigned from his post.
This is the second major setback for the three-year-old airline, as another co-founder has already left the company. Iyer has left the company at a time when the airline is trying to get its expansion plans back on track after delays in deliveries of aircraft.
New leadership after resignation
According to reports, Praveen Iyer was an important part of Akasa Air's founding team and was also part of the airline's executive committee. Following his resignation, the company has appointed its current Chief Information Officer, Anand Srinivasan, as the new Commercial Head with immediate effect.
