Vikas Kapoor is an Indian writer, director, producer, and former theater artist. He is the recipient of two national awards: the Kala Shri Award, conferred by then Prime Minister Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee in 1998, and the President Award for Best Film on National Integration in 2002.
