Lenskart Clarifies Dress Code Policy Amid Social Media Debate

Eyewear retailer Lenskart is in the news. He is not making headlines for any of his new products or offers, but about his dress code. Lenskart had given permission to wear the hijab after the prohibition of bindi-tilak was forbidden. The controversy has escalated, so now Lenskart has clarified. Lenskart clarified that it is a company made by Indians and we have more than 2400 stores.

On the prohibition of bindi, tilak, he said that people come to work every day with their faith, traditions and identity. This is not the hallmark of Lenskart, nor will we ever be.

Read Lenskart's clarification on the controversy

"Over the past few days, our community and customers have voiced their opinions and we've listened to them carefully.

In these guidelines, every religious and cultural symbol worn by our team members such as bindi, tilak, sindoor, kalawa, mangalsutra, kada, hijab, turban, etc. have been welcomed unequivocally and without any confusion.
