New Delhi: At the beginning of the New Year,The Modi government has given a big gift to the countrymen, and an official announcement has been made on which route the first Vande Bharat Sleeper Train of Indian Railways will run.
The country's first Vande Bharat sleeper train will run from Guwahati to Kolkata and will be inaugurated soon. Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw has given this information, and it is being said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself will flag off this train.
Recently, the final high-speed trial of the indigenously developed Vande Bharat Sleeper train has been successfully completed.
The trial was conducted on the Kota-Nagda section, during which the train reached a speed of 180 kmph.
The test was conducted under the supervision of the Commissioner of Railway Safety, which has ensured the safety of the train.
According to the Railway Minister, eight Vande Bharat sleeper trains will be introduced in the next six months, while 12 trains will run by the end of 2026.
The special thing is that Assamese food will be served to passengers in the train departing from Guwahati and Bengali food in the train from Kolkata.
