In a tragic incident, popular travel influencer Aanvi Kamdar, known for her adventurous spirit and breathtaking travel content, passed away after falling off a waterfall in Maharashtra's Raigad district. The accident occurred on Wednesday afternoon while she was filming content for her social media channels.
Aanvi Kamdar, 27, had been visiting the picturesque Raigad district, known for its stunning natural beauty and numerous waterfalls, as part of her latest travel series. According to local authorities, the incident happened at the Kumbhe Waterfall, a popular tourist destination. Witnesses reported that she was trying to capture a daring shot near the edge of the waterfall when she lost her footing and fell from a height of approximately 300 feet.
Upon receiving a call from Kamdar's friends, local rescuers and police arrived at the scene. After being taken to a local hospital, she was declared dead. She was a chartered accountant by profession and a social media influencer known for her travel reels. She has almost 250,000 followers on Instagram.
