The 72nd Miss World pageant will be ending in a finale today, Saturday, May 31, 2025, at the HITEX Exhibition Centre, Hyderabad, Telangana, India. 108 contestants from across the world will compete, with the current Miss World, Krystyna Pyszková of the Czech Republic, crowning a new winner.

In India, the Miss World 2025 grand finale will start at 6:30 PM IST. The event can be streamed live on SonyLIV or watched on the official Miss World pay-per-view platform at a charge of $8.99.

India is represented by Nandini Gupta from Kota, Rajasthan, who won Femina Miss India World 2023. The 21-year-old is a holder of a bachelor's degree in business management and dreams of becoming a purpose-driven entrepreneur with an emphasis on sustainable lab-grown diamonds. Gupta has also been a champion for spreading the use of traditional Indian fabrics and social causes.

The finale will be presented by Stephanie Del Valle and Sachin Kumbhar, and there will be performances by Jacqueline Fernandez and Ishaan Khatter. The selection process is carried out by short-listing the participants into a Top 40 and then continuing with more rounds for choosing the Top 20, Top 8, and the eventual winner.

This is the third time India is hosting Miss World, having held it in 1996 and 2024 earlier. The pageant still emphasizes not only beauty but humanitarian issues and cultural representation, too.
