The 18th season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) will kick off on March 22, 2025, at Kolkata's legendary Eden Gardens. The opening ceremony will see a galaxy of stars, with a mix of Bollywood glitz and global music style.

Bollywood stars Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan are likely to attend the function. Shah Rukh Khan's presence is especially looked forward to since his team, the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), will play the opening match against the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB).Salman Khan will also grace the occasion, possibly to introduce his next film, "Sikandar."
