Harman Baweja replaces Vijay Sethupathi as Vibhishan in Nitish Tiwari’s Ramayana Trilogy

In a surprising turn of events, Bollywood actor Harman Baweja is set to make a comeback to the silver screen by taking on the pivotal role of Vibhishan in the much-anticipated Ramayana trilogy directed by Nitish Tiwari.

Initially cast as Raavan’s brother Vibhishan, Vijay Sethupathi had to step down from the role due to scheduling conflicts, opening the door for Harman Baweja to make a notable return to the film industry after an extended hiatus.

The star-studded cast includes Ranbir Kapoor portraying Lord Ram, Sai Pallavi as Seeta, Yash as Raavan, Rakul Preet as Suprnakha, and Lara Dutta as Mata Kaikayi. The ensemble promises a visual spectacle that brings the timeless tale of Ramayana to life on the big screen.

Director Nitish Tiwari, known for his success with “Dangal,” has ambitious plans for the Ramayana trilogy. The first installment is scheduled to hit theaters on Diwali 2025, with subsequent releases set to captivate audiences in the following years.

As fans eagerly await this cinematic retelling of the revered epic, Harman Baweja’s inclusion adds another layer of anticipation to what is shaping up to be a landmark cinematic experience.
