Streaming now on Netflix, *Nadaaniya* is a fresh romantic drama featuring Ibrahim Ali Khan in his debut role alongside Khushi Kapoor. Directed by Shauna Gautam and produced by Karan Johar, the film follows the story of a young woman (Khushi Kapoor) who hires a fake boyfriend (Ibrahim Ali Khan), only to find herself falling for him in reality.

Ibrahim Ali Khan makes a decent debut. While his acting skills still need refinement, his on-screen presence is strong—he looks dashing and super fit, which adds to his charm in romantic sequences. Khushi Kapoor, in her third film, delivers convincing emotional scenes, but there’s still room for improvement in her overall acting. 

Story & Execution:

The script stands out as one of the film’s strongest aspects. The storyline feels fresh, steering clear of predictable clichés, making it engaging for the audience. Shauna Gautam’s direction keeps the narrative smooth, though at times, the film feels slightly stretched. 

Music:

Sachin-Jigar’s soundtrack complements the film beautifully, with *Tere Ishq Me* emerging as a standout track that enhances the romantic theme. The music plays a vital role in setting the film’s emotional tone. 

Verdict:

*Nadaaniya* is an enjoyable one-time watch, offering a mix of romance, drama, and good music. However, it doesn’t leave a lasting impact. While the performances are average, the fresh script and soulful soundtrack make up for it.
