After the Successful Re-Release of Sanam Teri Kasam, Producer Deepak Mukut to Bring Back Shaadi Mein Zaroor Aana  to Theaters

Mumbai – After witnessing an unexpected box office triumph with the re-release of Sanam Teri Kasam, producer Deepak Mukut is all set to re-release another of his past films, Shaadi Mein Zaroor Aana. The 2017 romantic drama, starring Rajkummar Rao and Kriti Kharbanda, is scheduled to hit theaters once again on March 7, 2025.

Deepak Mukut recently brought back his 2016 film Sanam Teri Kasam to cinemas, and despite being a flop upon its original release, the re-release turned out to be a massive success, collecting a whopping ₹36 crore at the box office. Encouraged by this unexpected resurgence Mukut has now decided to give Shaadi Mein Zaroor Aana a second chance on the big screen.

Originally released in 2017, *Shaadi Mein Zaroor Aana was an average performer at the box office. However, with the increasing popularity of nostalgia-driven re-releases, the makers are optimistic about its potential success this time around.

Directed by Ratnaa Sinha, Shaadi Mein Zaroor Aana follows the journey of Aarti, a young woman about to enter an arranged marriage with Sattu, a simple and kind-hearted man. However, on the day of her wedding, Aarti learns that she has cleared her PCS exams. Realizing that her in-laws would not allow her to work, she runs away, leaving Sattu heartbroken and humiliated.

Five years later, Aarti has become a successful sub-registrar. Just when she thinks her life is on track, she finds herself accused of corruption, and the officer investigating the case is none other than Sattu, the man she once left at the altar. This unexpected reunion leads to a gripping tale of love, revenge, and redemption.

With Sanam Teri Kasam proving that old films can find new audiences, expectations are high for Shaadi Mein Zaroor Aana. Whether it can recreate the box office magic remains to be seen, but fans of the film and its lead pair are eagerly waiting to relive the emotional rollercoaster on the big screen once again.
