The 2025 Pahalgam incident was a terrorist attack on tourists executed by five armed terrorists from Pakistan near Pahalgam in Indian-administered Jammu and Kashmir, resulting in the deaths of 26 people on 22 April 2025. The terrorists mainly targeted Hindu tourists. The assailants, equipped with M4 carbines and AK-47s, infiltrated the tourist location in Baisaran Valley, encircled by deep pine forests.
