NorthEast United Football Club (NEUFC) is a professional football club based in North East India that competes in the Indian Super League (ISL). Founded on April 13, 2014, during the league's inaugural season, NorthEast United represents the eight states of North East India: Assam, Nagaland, Manipur, Meghalaya, Sikkim, Arunachal Pradesh, Tripura, and Mizoram. The current owners of the club are John Abraham and Jaya Balan.
