Iris Murdoch

Dame Jean Iris Murdoch, commonly known as Iris Murdoch, was an Irish and British novelist and philosopher. She is renowned for her explorations of themes such as good and evil, sexual relationships, morality, and the influence of the unconscious in her novels. Born on July 15, 1919, in Phibsborough, Dublin, Ireland, she passed away on February 8, 1999.
