India to Host Men’s Asia Cup 2025: A Celebration of Cricket and Regional Unity

The Asian Cricket Council (ACC) has confirmed that India will host the Men’s Asia Cup in 2025. The decision to award the hosting rights to India was made during the ACC's annual general meeting held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The choice reflects India’s rich cricketing heritage, its world-class infrastructure, and its passionate fan base. The Men’s Asia Cup 2025 will be the 16th edition of the tournament, and it promises to be one of the most memorable in its history.

Scheduled to take place in September 2025, the Men’s Asia Cup will feature top teams from the Asian continent, including India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, and potentially emerging teams from the region. The tournament format will include T20 matches, offering a thrilling blend of cricketing action.

The ACC President, Jay Shah, expressed his enthusiasm about India hosting the tournament: “We are thrilled to announce that India will be the host nation for the Men’s Asia Cup 2025. India has a deep connection with cricket, and we are confident that this tournament will be a celebration of the sport and the spirit of Asia. We look forward to welcoming teams and fans from across the continent to witness some unforgettable cricketing moments.”

With just over a year to go, preparations for the Men’s Asia Cup 2025 are already in full swing. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is working closely with the ACC and local authorities to ensure that the tournament is conducted smoothly and safely.
