India Beat New Zealand In ICC T20 World Cup 2026: The Indian team has created history. They have become the first team in the world to win the T20 World title three times. The final match of the ICC T20 World Cup 2026 was played between India and New Zealand on March 8 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. Where the Indian team managed to win by a big margin of 96 runs. Chasing the target of 256 runs for victory from India, the Kiwi team did not start anything special. Finn Allen (09) was dismissed on the fourth ball of the third over. After this, the Kiwi team lost wickets at consecutive intervals. However, in the meantime Tim Seifert remained at one end and continued the fight. But due to the lack of cooperation from the other end, his patience also gave way. He was dismissed as the fifth batsman. Before being dismissed, he faced a total of 26 balls while opening the innings. Meanwhile, he managed to score 52 runs at a strike rate of 200.00. 

 

Captain Mitchell Santner showed courage in defeat

Apart from Seifert, captain Mitchell Santner was able to stay at the crease for a while. Batting at number seven, he faced a total of 35 balls. Meanwhile, he managed to score 43 runs at a strike rate of 122.85. During this, three fours and two sixes were seen from his bat. Chasing the target, the entire Kiwi team was bundled out for 159 runs in 19 overs.
