Sheohar, a district within the Tirhut division of Bihar, was originally part of Muzaffarpur and later the Sitamarhi district. The Sheohar Lok Sabha constituency has been represented by notable figures, including freedom fighter Thakur Jugal Kishore Sinha, who is recognized as the father of the cooperative movement in India.

 

In the 2019 elections, Rama Devi of the BJP won the seat with 608,678 votes, while Syed Faisal Ali of the RJD received 268,318 votes.
